  1. Allergy Disclaimer: All Products are clearly labeled with ingredients on both packaging and the Website. Customers are responsible for checking the ingredients and performing a patch test before use. Gentle Roots is not liable for allergic reactions or misuse of Products.

  2. Hygiene Policy: For safety and quality reasons, we do not accept returns of opened Products.

  3. Product Availability: Product availability is subject to change without notice. Gentle Roots reserves the right to discontinue any Product at any time.

4. Ordering and Payments

  1. Order Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once your order is placed. This does not guarantee Product availability.

  2. Pricing: All prices are in GBP and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs are added at checkout.

  3. Accepted Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other secure payment gateways available at checkout.

  4. Secure Transactions: All transactions are encrypted and processed securely. Gentle Roots does not store or have access to your card details.

  5. Order Cancellations & Amendments

  • Orders cannot be cancelled or modified once they have been dispatched.

  • If you need to change your shipping address, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. After this period, we cannot guarantee changes.

  • Gentle Roots reserves the right to cancel an order if a product is out of stock, there is a pricing error, or payment is not successfully processed. If we cancel an order, you will receive a full refund.

5. Subscription Services

  1. Billing & Payments: By subscribing, you authorize Gentle Roots to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis. Billing occurs on the same date each billing cycle, unless otherwise stated.

  2. Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellations must be made before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.

  3. Refunds: Subscription payments are non-refundable once a billing cycle has started. If a payment fails, the subscription will be suspended until the outstanding amount is paid. Customers must cancel before the next billing cycle to avoid further charges. Cancellations made after a payment is processed will not be refunded.

  4. Price Changes: Gentle Roots reserves the right to update subscription pricing. Customers will receive at least 14 days’ notice before any price changes take effect.

6. Shipping and Delivery

  1. Shipping Times: We aim to dispatch orders within 2-5 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination.

  2. International Orders: Gentle Roots now ships to United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand. Customers outside the UK should be aware that delivery times vary due to customs processing, postal delays, and local courier services.

  3. Estimated Delivery Times: 5-20 business days. Delivery times may be subject to unexpected delays due to customs clearance. These delays are beyond our control, and we are unable to guarantee exact arrival dates.

  4. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes: - International buyers are responsible for any applicable customs fees, duties, or import taxes imposed by their country. These fees are determined by your local customs authority and are not included in our product or shipping prices. -Gentle Roots is not responsible for any customs charges or delays. If customs fees are unpaid and the package is returned to us, a refund will be issued for the product cost only (excluding shipping fees). -We recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order to determine if any additional charges may apply.

  5. Refused or Unclaimed Shipments:  If an order is refused or unclaimed due to unpaid customs fees, incorrect shipping details, or failure to collect, the courier may return or dispose of the package. If returned to us, we will issue a refund for the product cost only, excluding all shipping and handling fees. If not returned, no refund will be issued. Gentle Roots is not responsible for lost or abandoned shipments. Once a parcel is refused or unclaimed, its final handling is determined by the postal service or customs authorities.

  6. Incorrect Address Entries: Customers are fully responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout. If an order is delivered to the incorrect address due to customer error, Gentle Roots is not liable for retrieval, replacement, or refunds. If the package is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer must cover additional shipping fees for reshipment. If the package is not returned, no refund or replacement will be issued.

7. Returns and Refunds

  1. Returns are only accepted for unopened products in original packaging within 14 days of receipt. See our full Returns Policy for policy details on domestic and international orders.

  2. Incorrect or Faulty Items: If you receive an incorrect or faulty item, please contact us within 48 hours with photos. We will investigate and arrange a replacement or refund if deemed suitable.
